She married her husband Joe in 2007, where they both worked for Young Life Camping in Jasper, GA. • michael mccallum, contemporary worship

Michael McCallum is currently the Praise and Worship Director for our Contemporary Service (Second Service).  Michael is happily married, (Lisa) has three beautiful children: Lindsay, Lauren and Patrick, and five beautiful grandchildren: Allegra, Eisley, Jude, Ryver and Grayson.

He loves contemporary worship and enjoys helping others grow closer to God through music. He first began doing music with youth and children’s camps. He then helped the Youth Band on Sunday Nights, and began leading music for the ‘Walk to Emmaus.’ Opportunity followed and allowed Michael to lead worship on Sunday mornings.

Our church is so blessed to have an incredible worship team. We have two awesome pastors, talented musicians and singers, dedicated sound and video technicians that make leading worship so enjoyable. First United Methodist Church in Harlingen is a beautiful church, with two very distinct worship styles, and Michael feels blessed to help lead worship for our contemporary worship service.

Psalm 100:2 Worship the Lord with Gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.

Darlene is working with our Senior Adults to provide great activities and outing around the Harlingen area. She also loves to visit with our shut-ins and homebound members. If you have any questions for Darlene, drop her an email.

Susie is the one to talk to about your giving records - got a question... give her a call.

They've been here for a long time, faithfully taking care of our church grounds. They do a wonderful job -- say hi when you see them around!
