FMC Pumpkin Patch

The First Methodist Church's Pumpkin Patch is an annual fundraiser held every October. Proceeds from our Pumpkin Patch go to support the Quentin Hale Scholarship Fund, Backpacks For Hunger program in our community and our Journey Preschool ministry. 


A semi truckload of pumpkins arrives just in time for fall each year, carrying pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colors! The patch boasts unique and festive decor -- inviting families and friends to join around the pumpkins for photographs to cherish memories of fall. 


The Pumpkin Patch also hosts field trips for local schools, providing a special Pumpkin Patch story time and activity. Field trips must be scheduled in advance. Please call 956-423-0540 for details.


Admission is always free & the 2022 Pumpkin Patch will be open starting: 

October 10th!

  • Mondays - Fridays:  10 am - 12 pm
  • Saturdays:                8 am - 8 pm
  • Sundays:                  12 pm - 8 pm

Volunteers needed

There are many ways to serve at the Patch. We are always looking for help in the following areas:

  • Unloading pumpkins when they are delivered
  • Set up and patch decorations & equipment
  • Signing up for shifts to work at the patch during operational hours as a Greeter or Cashier. Helping to host school and other community field trips.
